I was looking for old-fashioned English puddings, this is similar to a rice pudding but uses macaroni instead.
100g Cooked Macaroni
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp of jam (optional, I used home made strawberry jam)
Cook the macaroni in unsalted water, I have 3 minute macaroni so it took that long, follow the instructions on the pack.
Pre heat the oven to 180°c
Beat the eggs and mix in the milk and sugar.
Put the macaroni into a greased dish and grate a lemon over the top.
Pour the egg/milk over the top.
And bake for between 45mins and an hour, till the top has browned and the custard set.
And serve hot or cold.
