I dream in food, do you? When I woke up I had to make this dish.
Yes I can make pastry but tend not to bother, I had a pack of ready-made and rolled pastry in the fridge along with smoked salmon. So came up with this, and it worked, delicious.
Ready made pastry
Smoked Salmon
Feta Cheese
Garlic and Chive Cream Cheese
Chilli Flakes (optional)
Egg for glazing
Tartare sauce
Open up the pasty and spread cream cheese over the top.
Cover with smoked salmon and crumble the feta cheese over it.
Roll as tightly as possible brush with beaten egg then sprinkle with chilli flakes.
Bake at 180c till golden brown
Serve with Tartare sauce
