Ingredients for sponge cake
225gm self raising flour.
225gm castor sugar.
Put flour sugar marge eggs altogether and whisk until nice and smooth.
grease and line two sandwich tins
put oven on gas 5 electric190
bake for 30 mins or until cooked
Wait till cold then spread some strawberry jam on top of what will be the bottom half of the cake
whisk the double cream and add a little icing sugar keep a little cream back to put on top
over the bottom cake spread cream then sliced strawberrys
Place top Half of cake on. Put small amount cream in centre and slice a few strawberrys and place them on cream .then sprinkle icing sugar all over and enjoy yum yum
